I've seen some beautiful flowers
Grow in Life's Garden fair;
I've spent some wonderful hours,
Lost in their fragrance rare;
But I have found another,
Wondrous beyond compare....
There's a Rose that grows
In No Man's Land
And t'is wonderful to me;
Though t'is sprayed with tears,
It will live for years...
In My garden of memory.
T'is the one red rose
The soldier knows
T'is the work of the Master's hand;
'Mid the war's great curse
Stands the Red rose....
She's the Rose of No Man's Land..
Out of the heavenly splendor
Down the trail of woe;
He in his Mercy has sent her,
Cheering the world below;
We call her the "Rose of Heaven"
We've learned to love her so....

Yet again your words send trickles of longing down my spine to nestle against my loins. An yearning like no other. As there will be no other.
You are mine forever.
Love
Your One
