Hunger
The forces shift within me again.
The transformation occurs
So quickly, that I only
Realize it when the
Light becomes painful, when
My hunger returns, and
I must feed.
Bones crack,
Rearrange,
And transform.
My shell is no more;
The beast is free, hungry.
It seizes control.
Screams shatter the moonlit night.
But the transformation occurs
So quickly, that I only
Realize it when the
Darkness becomes frozen, when
My hunger is gone, and
I search for the light.
Bones crack,
Rearrange,
And transform.
I lay naked on the hillside, a
Smear of blood across my skin.
The sun arises, warming my flesh.
And I hope that maybe
I won't transform again.
But the moon hides his joyous face,
And when it is full,
And the night is ripe,
The beast will grow hungry again.....
The forces shift within me again.
The transformation occurs
So quickly, that I only
Realize it when the
Light becomes painful, when
My hunger returns, and
I must feed.
Bones crack,
Rearrange,
And transform.
My shell is no more;
The beast is free, hungry.
It seizes control.
Screams shatter the moonlit night.
But the transformation occurs
So quickly, that I only
Realize it when the
Darkness becomes frozen, when
My hunger is gone, and
I search for the light.
Bones crack,
Rearrange,
And transform.
I lay naked on the hillside, a
Smear of blood across my skin.
The sun arises, warming my flesh.
And I hope that maybe
I won't transform again.
But the moon hides his joyous face,
And when it is full,
And the night is ripe,
The beast will grow hungry again.....

Dark thoughts from the abyss of your mind. Your words stir me m'lady and evoke even darker images inside this maze that is my mind. Your hand in mine, shall we explore?
